Friends only..
I'll be blunt - I love stalkers. But not when they're kids that I teach, or parents of kids I teach, or creepy serial-killer types. So if you'd like to endure my randomness (ranging from damn funny to the mundanely angsty, but most often ranty in style or a collective update on life), email or leave a comment to be added. Kid-stalkers need not apply. Adult-stalkers? Well, maybe. Especially if:

a)you're incredibly funny or insightful
b)you have killer taste in music or books
c)you're a great big dork or are exuberantly passionate about something
d)you look like hot donna from that 70's show
e)you enjoy a sultry night of purling, cranium, or scrabble

Any or all of the above.

Being in the presence of anything related to Cranium makes me dance around with gleeful joy. If I had a family here, and we had a family game night, at least half of every family game night would be spent in the merry bowels of Cranium.

I tried to purchase Apples to Apples from the Appleton Mall a week ago so I could try it out and make my 6th graders play it with me in class, but apparently I was too late and the last copy had just been sold. Argh! Foiled again.

I qualify for two reasons: I'm a big dork and I like Cranium. Or is that just one reason?

And this is Liz....not a kid-stalker, but a high school stalker. I didn't know you had a kid stalker. He must have on-upped my stalking.

i did have a kid stalker.. she was one of my students during my student teaching stint last year. it was a ridiculously absurb sort of creepiness, albeit amusing.

unfortunately you CAN'T qualify, because you're anonymous as far as livejournal's concerned. if you aren't logged in, you can't read any of the friends-only entries. c'est impossible, m'amie.

i came thisclose to buying cranium hoopla tonight at the fred myers. then i realized that i'm moving this summer, and it'd be silly to purchase something as magnificent as cranium hoopla and not be able to cram it into the moving wagon.

I started a damn live journal account, simply because you seemed to have an interesting blog. If you add me, you have to promise to write one interesting entry once every 3 months. That shouldn't be much of a challenge.

And I like seeing pictures of the cute little kittens.

sweetie, you've gotta have a username before i can add you. lise-lisa? there's a generic "thegirlz" account that i can email to you. then if you want to read, you just need to use the username and password to log in - that's what siggy does.

if you're not lise-lisa, it won't help you at all, and lise will wonder why the fuck i sent her a random, nonsensical* email.

*it really is a real word. look it up!

1. I am possibly the funniest person I know, and am on a mission to make sure everyone else gets to experience my absolute hilarity.
2. As previously discussed on facebook, I orgasm for Flogging Molly--can you get any more killer than that?
3. Dorky does not begin to describe me...I read Hegel for fun, think that trying on bizarre outfits at thrift stores is one of the most amusing pasttimes ever, and love spending the evening wailing away at sleazy karaoke bars.
4. Ummm, I'm a red head from a bottle? That's about as close as I'm going to get.
5. I work at a knitting store, have more projects than I care to admit, kick some major ass at scabble, and have indulged in all night cranium marathons

That being said, we've also hung out before, and are facebook friends, so really I think I've proven my livejournal-friend-nonstalker-worthiness.

Wow.. I think you are the first person to ever successfully fulfill all 5 of the criteria. So... you win, even if technically you're not stalking me. Congrats! I've gotta warn you though, my entries are raw at best. And prolific during finals and I-should-really-be-working-on-my-research time. I am basically the most sophisticated and dedicated procrastinator in existence. Beware.

If you're interested in sleazy karaoke, there is probably plenty of that occuring this Wednesday. I may or may not be around. If you are, and are interested, let me know..I love karaoke. Because I am awful at it. (this means that if you are actually talented, maybe we shouldn't karaoke together, I will embarrass you for sure)

Sounds good to me! My posts are incredibly inane of late, so I need the fodder of others more interesting posts to keep me going.

As for karaoke, I'm free this Wednesday--anything to avoid Thanksgiving festivities as long as earthly possible. And no, I am not talented at karaoke. The more I drink, the better I think I am, but deep in my heart I know that a singer I am not.
